The Polly Wall is a pre-rendered modular boundary wall, manufactured in Australia. It delivers the look of a rendered block or brick wall without the cracking, weight, or footing trench. We install it as a finishing trade: deep galvanised-steel footings set, panels seated and sealed with a render finish applied to spec.

Each panel is a sandwich construction composite: an 85 mm M grade polystyrene core wrapped in fibreglass mesh and polymer modified acrylic render, seated between galvanised steel SHS posts set into deep engineered footings. The posts carry the load and the panels float between them, isolated from ground movement, which is why the finished wall doesn’t crack the way a rendered block boundary eventually does. The final face is either factory sand coat for cost effective installs or an on site bead and render coat for a finer architectural finish.

Looks like rendered block, without the cracking
The finished face reads as a poured-render block or brick wall, but the engineered post-and-panel system doesn’t crack along mortar lines or move with the slab. Long, clean elevations that hold their line through every wet season.
Quieter inside the boundary
The 85 mm solid panel core absorbs the ambient road, rail, pool-pump and neighbour-noise that a steel or timber fence simply passes through. Specified across M1-frontage homes, busy main-road properties, and pool zones backing onto entertainment areas.
Up in days, not weeks
A pre-rendered panel that arrives finished is faster on site than a block-built or poured-render wall, and doesn’t need a continuous footing trench. A 30-metre residential run typically goes from footings to finished face in two to three working days.
Fire and insect-resistant core
The Monowall panel core is M-grade high-impact polystyrene, encapsulated in 160 g fibreglass mesh and Polymer-modified acrylic render. White ants don’t eat it, the core resists fire propagation, and the rendered surface is rated for impact.
Engineered deep-footing post design
The 75×75 mm galvanised SHS steel posts sit in deep engineered footings significantly more stable than the conventional shallow strip footing used under a brick or block wall. The result is a fence that holds its plane even on movement-prone Coast clay soils.
Lifetime panel-core warranty
Monowall supplies a lifetime warranty on the panel core (subject to manufacturer terms), and we add our 12-month installation warranty with a 3-month quality inspection. Council setback and height conditions are flagged before quoting.

This design has been manufactured in Australia for over twenty years. The system is designed for residential, renovation and landscaping use. It’s a high-impact polystyrene panel core encapsulated in fibreglass mesh and polymer-modified acrylic render, supported on galvanised SHS posts in deep engineered footings. The panel itself carries lifetime core warranty; we add our installation warranty on top of that. We’re a Coast-based installer who works directly with the manufacturer.

The Polly Wall is a Monowall pre rendered panel system. The finished face reads the same. The difference sits underneath. A rendered block wall carries its load through the wall itself, which is why it eventually cracks along mortar lines and at the slab join. The Polly Wall carries its load through the steel posts, with the panels floating between them and isolated from ground movement. Same look, longer life, faster install, no continuous footing trench required.
Two options on the same engineered panel. The first is Monowall’s factory pre rendered sand coat fine texture, which is the most cost effective option and arrives on site already finished. The second is an on site bead and render coat applied by a specialist rendering contractor, for a finer architectural face suitable for front yard runs. Either can be painted in any Dulux or Taubmans colour after install.
Yes. The 85 mm solid panel core absorbs ambient road, rail, pool pump and neighbour noise that a steel or timber fence simply passes through. The exact reduction depends on your setback from the noise source, the wall height, and what sits behind the wall, so we walk the boundary and assess the noise conditions before quoting an outcome.
Yes. Boundary placement is standard. Some council areas cap front boundary heights at 1.2 m or 1.8 m without permit, so anything taller may need a quick approval. We flag any height or setback conditions during the site visit and lodge the paperwork where required.
It comes supplied with a lifetime warranty on the panel core, subject to the manufacturer’s terms and conditions. We add our 12 month installation warranty with a 3 month quality inspection.
