Mermaid Beach is genuinely coastal exposure. The fence itself is rarely what fails first — it is the screws, the brackets and the cut edges. We use marine-grade fixings, seal the cut edges on site and keep dissimilar metals apart at the fixing points, because that is where salt starts. For a frontage right on the beach we will quote Colorbond Stainless or aluminium rather than tell you standard sheeting will last the same.
